Egyptian Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouli, arrived in Paris on Sunday, heading a high-level delegation on a visit to the French capital, during which he will meet a host of French investors to discuss investment opportunities in Egypt.
The investors the prime ministers will meet will include the heads of some major French companies.
During his visit, the prime minister is also expected to signa memorandum of understanding on the country programme with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Prime Minister Madbouli is also due to meet a host of French officials and the heads and the managers of some French banks and investment funds to discuss co-operation.
Relations between Egypt and France have been gaining momentum for several years now, capitalizing on a growing number of shared interests and deep historical relations between the two Mediterranean nations.
French investments in Egypt exceed 5 billion Euros and the volume of trade between the two countries has already reached 3 billion Euros annually.
