Egypt’s Youths and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi congratulated Egyptian athlete Samar Hamza for winning the bronze medal in the World Wrestling Cup, in Norway.
The 26-year-old Egyptian wrestler defeated the Indian champion Kiran 2/1.
The minister praised the great achievement realized by Hamza as she is the first Egyptian wrestler to win a medal since 2006.
He said Egyptian teams in different sports will start gearing up for Paris Olympics 2024 within the coming period.
