The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development released Sunday the first “Follow-up to the Citizen Plan in the Governorates” report, a publication that throws light on the work done by the government in the different governorates between 2018 and 2020.
The report aims to give citizens information about the returns of development efforts around the nation, Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el-Saeed said.
It also throws light on the efforts made by the state authorities in all governorates, providing detailed information on the projects implemented in each governorate, the minister said of the report.
It also contains information about progress made in the implementation of projects that have not been completed yet.
About 424 development projects have been implemented in the Upper Egyptian Governorate of Assuit over the period between 2018 and 2020, according to the “Follow-up to the Citizen Plan in the Governorates” report which was released yesterday.
The government invested LE17.5 billion (roughly $1.1 billion) in these projects, covering education, health, electricity, petroleum, housing, irrigation and local development.
