Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, affirmed that an approval was given for listing Tanta University Educational 900 900 Hospital as one of the national projects that serve citizens in middle Delta, particularly in Al-Mahalla Al-Kobra and the entire Gharbia governorate. Thereupon, 900 900 Hospital will be realised aspiration in middle Delta; it will be the first smart hospital designed according to the latest international standards not only to offer healthcare services to citizens in this area, but also to prove the people’s determination, support, and belonging to our beloved Egypt.

 

Furthermore, University President congratulated all Egyptians, all people who participated in the project, and the political leadership that cares about citizens of this great nation. He added that effort will be exerted to accomplish this project as soon as possible.

 

In addition, Prof. Mahmoud Zaki declared that the implementation of the first stage of the project will start. The project will be carried out in 3 stages with a total building area of 60,000m2 at a cost more than one billion pounds. The project consists of 3 buildings. The first building includes Emergency Hospital. The second is Maternity and Pediatric Hospital, and the third is Intensive Care Hospital. The capacity of each stage is 200 beds. Moreover, the hospital will be equipped with the most modern devices used in the world.

 

University President called upon all businessmen, charitable organisations, individuals, civil society institutions to co-operate and to support the project so that the Hospital 900 900 can be built. He added that the self-help establishment of the hospital would reflect the values of social participation, belonging, and love to Egypt.
