In line with the company’ keenness to provide a unique and an enhanced customer experience, Samsung Electronics, a world leader in advanced technology, unveiled two new product categories to elevate day-to-day users and professionals’ experience. The first lineup entails advanced mobile image sensors providing high-resolution photos, while the other introduces enhanced microSD cards to increase storage spaces in mobile phones using innovative storage cards.
The Tech giant introduced the ISOCELL HP1 sensor, which is the industry’s first 200MP image sensor with 0.64μm pixels, and the ISOCELL GN5 sensor, which adopts Dual Pixel Pro technology that has pan-focusing with two photodiodes in one 1.0μm pixel (part of the millionths of a meter.
The ISOCELL HP1 brings such ultrahigh resolution in a small package that fits comfortably in today’s handheld devices. With the ISOCELL HP1, pictures hold an astonishing amount of detail that helps the image stay sharp even when cropped or resized. The sensor also features an all-new ChameleonCell technology, which produces brighter and clearer photos in-doors or in low-light environment. Besides, in bright outdoor environment, the ISOCELL HP1 captures 8K videos at 30 frames-per-second (fps) with minimum loss in the field of view.
On the other hand, the ISOCELL GN5 sensor is the industry’s first 1.0μm image sensor to integrate Dual Pixel Pro, an all-directional autofocusing technology that can substantially boost autofocusing capabilities, providing sharper images in either bright or low-lit environments. The sensor also applies Front Deep Trench Isolation (FDTI) on a Dual Pixel product for the first time in the industry, which enables each photodiode to absorb and hold more light information.

Simultaneously, Samsung introduced its new PRO Plus microSD and a redesigned and enhanced EVO Plus microSD card that provide customers with a comprehensive offering for day-to-day and professional storage needs with a new lineup of microSDs that offer lightning-fast read and write speeds, increased durability, and a wide variety of capacity options.
Samsung’s newest microSDs cards are ideal for expanded mobile device storage and capturing high-quality photos, 4K Ultra HD (UHD) video, and other content on action cameras and drones, even in extreme conditions.
The new microSDs offer improved six-proof protection, two more layers of protection than the previous generation, making them able to withstand water, extreme temperatures, x-ray, wear out, drops, and magnetic impact. Offered with a 10-year limited warranty, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus microSDs thus enable users to store data without the worry of lack of space, while also providing confidence that the content is well protected.

PRO Plus microSD cards, a new addition to Samsung’s microSD lineup, are designed for more discerning content creators, offering exceptional read and write speeds of up to 160MB/s and 120MB/s, respectively. The PRO Plus microSD cards will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities.
While the EVO Plus microSD offers transfer speeds of up to 130MB/s, providing up to 1.3x faster sequential read speed when compared to the previous version. EVO Plus microSD card will be available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacity
