Assigned by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, General Intelligence Chief Maj Gen Abbas Kamel arrived on Wednesday on a visit to Ramallah and Tel Aviv, to push forward Egypt’s efforts within the framework of the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.
Received in Ramallah by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Kamel conveyed a message from President Sisi reaffirming Egypt’s support to the Palestinian cause, and Cairo’s endeavours to achieve calm and stability in all the Palestinian territories, and the entire region.
