The Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), and the University of Hertfordshire in Egypt, hosted by The Global Academic Foundation (UH-GAF), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that seeks to build sustainable links in education, research, training and consultancy between ACUD and the University of Hertfordshire. The MoU was signed by Major General Mohamed Abdel Latif, ACUD’s Managing Director, and Professor Vincent Emery, President of UH-GAF, and Mr. Moataz Ghanem, Chair of GAF’s Board of Trustees. The event was also attended by the Chairman of the ACUD, General Ahmed Zaki Abdeen.

Following the signing of the MoU, UH-GAF’s President, Vincent Emery expressed his happiness in Co-operating with the ACUD which is such a key organization in delivering the infrastructure of the New Administrative Capital; a partnership that will guarantee strong and effective relations.

President Emery also added: “This is a very key moment in our development as an international branch campus based in the New Administrative Capital. Co-operating with such a huge partner allows us to support the vision of creating a smart, sustainable city, driven by technology and for us to continue to contribute to Egypt’s Vision 2030.”

Major General Mohamed Abdel Latif has emphasised on the importance of this strategic co-operation, as it will offer job opportunities as well as summer internships for UH-GAF students, allowing them to effectively be part of the development of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. General Abdel Latif has also expressed his happiness that this co-operation will allow UH-GAF students to provide technical creative ideas and support to ACUD’s engineering projects, in all scientific fields.
