The National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW) has called on all Egyptians to take part in a blood donation campaign dedicated to the Palestinians.
The NACDW asserted its commitment to continue providing support to the Palestinian people by sending further humanitarian aid in all its forms until the volatile situation in the Palestinian territories improves.
The alliance, in a statement issued on Thursday, said that the move falls within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to ensure the provision of immediate support and humanitarian aid to Palestine.
The blood donation campaign is led by the foundations of Orman and Life Makers, in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population.
Ambulances are touring public universities in tandem with the preparation of a caravan that consists of humanitarian and medical aid, food, and doctors.
On Tuesday, the NACDW announced that it was preparing – as per president Sisis’ instructions – a massive aid convoy loaded with food and medical materials to be sent to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing.
The convoy includes doctors of various specialties, medicines, and medical equipment to support the Palestinians in Gaza who have been affected by Israel’s barbaric acts of violence.
