President orders medical treatment of former athlete

ARMY’S Maadi Medical Complex has hospitalised former world bodybuilding champion, Ashraf Foula, according to directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, who ordred to provide all necessary and urgent medical care to  him.

Foula, who suffers from kidney failure, needs urgent medical attention in preparation for kidney transplant surgery.

The General Command of the Armed Forces has instructed the Armed Forces Medical Services Department to  coordinate for a speedy transfer of Foula to the Medical Complex in Maadi, where he would get the best medical
care for his condition.

For their part, Foula’s family thanked the president for the quick response to his appeal. They also praised the  comprehensive medical care provided as well as the superior health services at Maadi’s Medical Complex.
