CAIRO – Egypt’s ambassador in Lisbon Wael El Naggar has discussed with Portuguese Health Minister Manuel Pizarro means to boost bilateral ties and enhance health and pharmaceutical cooperation.
They also probed means to cement cooperation on the digitization of health sector and establishing firms operating in health sector in light of the outcomes of the minister’s recent visit to Cairo in May.
The ambassador voiced Egypt’s keenness on having partnerships with the Portuguese side to support the medical sector in Egypt and localize modern technologies on manufacturing medicines and vaccines in Egypt.
The Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday that the Portuguese minister lauded the fruitful medical cooperation between Egypt and Portugal.
