Dozens of Israeli settlers Thursday morning broke into Al Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
The extremist settlers raided the holy shrine from Maghariba Gate.
The settlers took provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals, the Islamic endowments (Awqaf) department in Al Quds said in a press release.
Israeli forces continued to impose tight measures on worshipers’ access to Al Aqsa Mosque.
