Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin underlined the importance of developing the working mechanism of affiliated companies and units.
He said the ministry’s sectors and the National Military Production Organization offer needed support to affiliated companies in order to use up-to-date technology and increase production.
The minister made the remarks during a meeting with the heads of affiliated companies’ boards and advisers of the ministry and the National Military Production Organization.
He stressed commitment to presidential directives to boost local component percentage and engage in partnerships with national and international institutions to use top-notch technology in military and civilian industries.
The minister underlined the importance of encouraging innovation, noting that the meeting highlighted commitment to heeding national interests in light of the recent international developments which affected the domestic affairs.
