An extra-ordinary meeting of the Arab League (AL) Council kicked off here on Tuesday to discuss the situation in the Palestinian city of Jenin in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression there.
Participants in the meeting observed a minute of silence to mourn the Palestinian martyrs who were killed during the Israeli assault.
The AL Council convened at the request of Palestine and in coordination with Egypt and Jordan.
The participants will review effective Arab and international action to stop the Israeli aggression and provide protection for the Palestinian people.
