Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Thursday a telephone call from Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Tanja Fajon.
The two sides discussed vistas of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Abu Zeid added that both sides tackled economic and trade cooperation fields and ways of boosting and developing them in the period to come.
The spokesman said the Slovenian official was keen on getting acquainted with Shoukry’s assessment and Egypt’s vision on the latest developments in the Arab and African arenas, with special focus on the situation in Sudan, the Palestinian cause and conditions in Libya.
