Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-Saeed on Monday laid the foundation stone for the Egypt Services Centre in the city of el-Arish during her two-day visit to North Sinai Governorate.
El-Saeed inspected projects of the investment plan in the company of Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna, Governor of North Sinai Mohamed Shousha and Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation Affairs Ashraf Abdel Hafeez.
The Egypt Service Centres are national projects for the development of high-quality, digitised government services, el-Saeed said.
These centres contribute to achieving financial inclusion through electronic payment methods, she said.
Centre staff has been trained to a high training to ensure optimum level of services, she added.
