AMMAN – The 32nd Arab Summit, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, has highlighted the pivotal roles played by Egypt, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and Jordan, under King Abdullah II, to solve Arab issues, Jordanian experts told MENA.
The experts reiterated on Saturday that the summit also shed light on Egypt and Jordan’s important roles in finding political solutions for Arab issues, topped by the Syrian crisis and the Palestinian cause.
Qasim Alamr, professor of politics at Jordan’s University of Petra, told MENA that the summit reflected good communications among Arab leaders and presidents to achieve security and stability in the region.
He lauded great efforts exerted by the Egyptian and Jordanian leaders to help settle such Arab crises.
For his part, Tareq Gouda, key journalist at Jordan’s Al Ghad newspaper, has praised Egypt and Jordan’s significant endeavors to restore peace, security and stability in the region and all over the world.
