Egypt’s Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tareq el Molla said Wednesday a digital platform will be launched very soon in the mining sector.
The mining gateway includes all geological data and maps required by investors to make it easy for them to learn more about investment opportunities in mining in the country.
Molla’s remarks came at meeting with a delegation from the Mining Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Egypt Wednesday.
The minister said the support of the political leadership for efforts to develop the mining sector has mainly contributed to achieving several successes.
The meeting discussed efforts exerted by the committee to promote investments in mining.
Molla asserted AmCham is a strategic partner to the petroleum and mining sectors serving he interests of all industry parties.
