KIEV/BERLIN – Germany is planning to produce 250,000 155mm artillery shells for the Ukrainian army, Ukrinform news agency reported on Saturday.
The supply represents quarter of the total amount of ammunition the European Union intends to provide to Ukraine.
As the publication reports, the proposal to produce such a number of projectiles for Ukraine was announced at a meeting of directors of armament companies earlier this week.
