RAMALLAH – Spokesman for Fatah movement Abdel Fattah Dawla stressed on Sunday that the US administration and Israel have to realize that their schemes will fail in the face of the Palestinian steadfastness.
The American stance is consistent with the extremist Israeli position and what is happening now in Palestine is part of a broader strategy aimed at uprooting the Palestinian people from their land and establishing the State of Israel, Dawla told Nile News Channel.
Just as the American-Israeli proposal failed over the years to uproot the Palestinian people from their land, it will fail again now and all these extremist ideas will vanish, he said, stressing that no one will be able to uproot Palestinians from their land as long as they are backed by an Arab stance that rejects forced displacement.
He called for bringing back Palestinian refugees who were displaced from their homes in 1948 and 1967.
The US scheme was unraveled one week following the October 7 incidents where the fourth stage the plan involved pushing the residents of the Gaza Strip towards Sinai, the Fatah spokesman said. But this plan failed due to Egypt’s firm stance and the Palestinian people’s insistence on staying on their land.
About the exchange of prisoners, he said it is a happy moment in the history of the Palestinians despite the Israeli occupation’s attempts to restrict celebrations of prisoners release, calling for the release of all other Palestinian prisoners who have been subjected to torture, abuse, and inhumane treatment at Israeli prisons.
