The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that 150,000 Palestinians have fled from Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip since Monday.
The agency confirmed in a brief statement on its account on social media platform (X) on Saturday that at least 300,000 people have been affected since more areas across the Gaza Strip have received new evacuation orders from the Israeli forces.
Eyewitnesses in the region reported that the occupation army fired smoke bombs east of Jabalia camp, while shelling renewed in the Sha’shaa area, east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Three Palestinians were killed in as airstrike by reconnaissance aircraft targeting a group of civilians in central Gaza, while The UAE Field Hospital received two martyr’s bodies and a number of those injured after a raid on a civilian car in central Rafah.
Occupation artillery targeted Sabra and Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City, while hospitals warned of a looming health crises due to fuel shortages.
The government’s Media Office in Gaza reported 143 journalists deaths since October 7, including Bahaa Okasha’s family deaths in Jabalia. Okasha, a photojournalist working for Al Aqsa media network was killed alongside his wife and children in an Israeli raid on his family home.
