The United Nations expressed shock at Friday evening’s Christmas market attack in the German city of Magdeburg, DW said.
“We are shocked by the news of the attack in Magdeburg Germany,” Stéphane Dujarric, the spokesman for UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, said in a statement.
“We extend our condolences to the families of the victims as well as the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Germany. We wish those injured a swift recovery.”
