Over the past day Ukraine’s rocket and artillery units conducted a number of successful strikes on Russian control points and their manpower and equipment clusters, Ukrinform reported on Tuesday citing a morning update delivered by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“In the past 24 hours, the Air Force conducted nine strikes on Russian manpower and equipment clusters as well as seven – targeting the [Russian] air defense systems. Six attack drones of various types were destroyed.
Also, Ukraine’s rocket and artillery units hit three Russian control points, five clusters, four artillery units at firing positions, an anti-aircraft missile complex, five e-warfare stations, and an ammunition depot,” the General Staff said in a report.
“Today, the [Russians] again launched a massive attack on Ukraine, employing various types of missiles. Details are yet to be published.
In the past 24 hours, two missile strikes were recorded on Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, where the [Russians] used an S-300 air defense system.
In addition, the Russian Federation carried out 48 airstrikes and more than 50 attacks involving multiple rocket launchers,” the report said.
