DAMASCUS – Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed al Jalali affirmed that he does not know the whereabouts of Syrian President Bashar al Assad and Defense Minister Ali Mahmoud Abbas.
He further said that the last contact between him and al Assad was yesterday evening.
In exclusive statements to Al Arabiya News Channel, Jalali said that he briefed al Assad yesterday about the situation and the state of panic among citizens, adding that al Assad responded to him: “We will see tomorrow.”
He added that he has no information about the whereabouts of the rest of the Assad family.
He further affirmed that he is communicating only with the ministers, indicating that the majority of the ministers are still present in Damascus.
