CAIRO – Rwandan President Paul Kagame, currently visiting Egypt, stressed that no state can confront international crises alone.
He said the coronavirus pandemic reminded all states of the importance of working together more than before.
He made the remarks on Saturday during a press conference with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Kagame said he had talks with Sisi on means of enhancing bilateral ties and furthering partnerships.
He said the cooperation deals signed between the two sides today crowned the deeply-rooted relations between the two countries.
He said cooperation in new scores became inevitable in order to restore economy to the right track, consolidate ability to confront challenges, maximize free trade scores.
He added that promoting economic capabilities would create opportunities for youths, stressing that protecting their future is important for the continent.
At the end of the press conference, Kagame invited Sisi to visit Rwanda again, hailing the last two visits by Sisi.
