MOSCOW- Russia has called for an immediate cessation of fighting in Sudan and solving differences through negotiations.
In a statement Monday, the Foreign Ministry said that Russia realizes the importance of a ceasefire and solving differences through negotiations.
It called for ensuring the safety of the Russian Embassy in Khartoum and all Russian citizens in Sudan.
Russian envoy to the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received earlier Sudan’s Ambassador in Moscow Mohamed Seraj and discussed with him the latest military developments.
