KUWAIT CITY – Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmed al Sabah issued on Sunday a decree accepting the resignation submitted by the government of Mohammad Al Fares.
The Emiri decree asked the outgoing government to remain in a caretaker capacity until a new cabinet is formed, the state news agency KUNA reported.
The cabinet offered its resignation following the declaration of parliament elections results.
