The Qatari cabinet welcomed the results of the talks held between Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the latter’s current official visit to Doha.
During its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Qatari cabinet noted that President Sisi’s visit came within the framework of fraternal and historical relations between the two countries, and their mutual desire to strengthen bilateral ties for the interest of the brotherly Egyptian and Qatari peoples, Qatar’s state news agency, QNA, reported.
The cabinet also affirmed that the Qatari-Egyptian summit talks and the memoranda of understanding signed in Doha have opened new horizons for both countries to expand and develop co-operation in various fields, as well as to intensify efforts to support Arab issues and promote joint Arab action.
