CAIRO – Newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador in The Hague Emad Hanna has affirmed the importance attached by the political leadership to linking Egyptian expats with their homeland, especially the second and third generations.

Hanna made the remarks as he received some representatives of Egyptian federations and associations.

The ambassador asserted the foreign ministry’s keenness to maintain periodic contacts with Egyptian communities abroad to get acquainted with their proposals.

He added that the ministry is also keen to provide Egyptian expats with all consular services in a quick and easy manner, while working to overcome all obstacles they may face.

The ambassador expressed hope that Egyptian experts, researchers and specialists living in the Netherlands would benefit their homeland, calling on Egyptian businessmen in the European nation to engage in investment projects in Egypt.
