WARSAW – Poland has taken in 2.94 million refugees fleeing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Poland Radio reported on Sunday.
“Since February 24, a total of 2,935,000 people have crossed into Poland from Ukraine,” it said in a tweet.
On Saturday, around 15,100 refugees from Ukraine arrived in the country, compared with 17,700 a day earlier.
