WARSAW – Some 6.999 million refugees from Ukraine have crossed the border with Poland since the start of the Russian military operation, Radio Poland said, citing figures from Poland’s Border Guard agency.
Poland received Thursday about 25,000 refugees from Ukraine, while some 20,000 refugees returned to their country, the radio reported Friday.
On February 24, Russia announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
