Pentagon voices concerns over missile shelling between Israel, Hezbollah

WASHINGTON – The Pentagon expressed worries about tension between Israel and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border, the US Department of Defense said.

“We’re continuing to follow very closely,” Pentagon Press Secretary Pat Ryder said.

“You know, as we’ve mentioned before, we do have concerns about tensions along that border. We continue to encourage a diplomatic solution. And so we’re going to stay very focused on that,” Ryder added.
