Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa said Thursday his government is actively working to provide relief to the Gaza Strip and is preparing for reconstruction as soon as possible, despite the current challenges.
After meeting with Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit in Cairo, Mustafa noted that their discussions focused on regional challenges, particularly those faced by the Palestinians in Gaza.
The Palestinian government highly values the support of the Arab League in addressing these challenges, especially at a political level, the premier said.
“Our people in Gaza are our top priority right now, despite the concerning political and security situation,” he added.
Mustafa reassured the people of Gaza that they will not be abandoned during this difficult time, promising better days ahead for the Palestinians.
