Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo and Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League (AL) Diab al-Louh received on Wednesday a human rights delegation, under Secretary General of the Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) Makkawi bin Issa at the Palestinian embassy premises.
During their meeting, the ALU secretary asserted the union’s firm support of the Palestinian people in their struggle till establishing an independent Palestinian state, with Al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) as its capital.
He further stressed that the Union will continue to support all efforts exerted in this regard at official political gatherings.
Bin Issa also pledged to support the diplomatic and human rights efforts exerted by the State of Palestine, in coordination with the authorities concerned, to prosecute the crimes of the occupation at the International Criminal Court.
For his part, the Palestinian ambassador welcomed the delegation’s visit to the Palestinian embassy, lauding co-operation between the embassy and the Union in support of the Palestinians’ rights.
