Moscow will respond to EU sanctions, says Russian foreign ministry

MOSCOW – The Russian Foreign Ministry said Moscow will respond to EU sanctions, Sputnik news agency reported Friday.

“The actions of the European Union will not go unanswered,” said Nikolai Koprinets, the director of the European Cooperation Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

He added that “the irresponsible Brussels sanctions (against Russia) negatively affect the daily life of ordinary Europeans.”
