TRIPOLI – Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit has lauded holding the Libya Stabilization Conference on Libyan territories, noting that the Libyan people seek stability after more than 10 years of crises that hit their country, MENA reported.
In statements to Sky News Arabia channel on Friday, Abul Gheit said organizing the conference that saw the participation of 31 states, the United Nations, the African Union, the European Union, and the Arab League in Libya indicates the support provided to stability in the North African country.
The Arab League chief hailed what the Libyan authorities presented during the conference as a “nice gesture”.
