On the sidelines of the Korea-Africa Summit held in Seoul, Libyan Presidential Council’s Deputy Head Mossa Al-Koni met with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and discussed developing prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries in many fields, especially economic and capacity building, The Libya Observer reported.
The Korean Prime Minister reassured Al-Koni that his country, through its membership in the Security Council, would continue to support Libya’s position to contribute to its stability.
The two sides agreed to coordinate efforts for South Korea’s contribution to development and reconstruction projects in Libya and to benefit from the Korean experience in this field.
Han Duck-soo announced the completion of arrangements with the Libyan side and the full staff of his country’s embassy to commence its work from Tripoli.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed coordination of Korean-African efforts in the field of investment and development in Africa.
