TRIPOLI – Libyan Foreign Minister Najla al Manqoush has discussed with Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Buccino a host of common issues, the most important of which is the illegal migration.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed the initiative launched by the Libyan Foreign Ministry to maintain international coordination in order to resolve the issue of migrants.
The ambassador, for his part, said that stability in Libya is vital for the Mediterranean region.
Italy strongly supports Libya’s efforts to attain security and stability, he affirmed.
