CAIRO – Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Bou Habib said his country welcomes Syria’s return to the Arab League (AL) and participation in the 32nd session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, due to kick off in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday.
He told MENA on Thursday that Lebanon hopes that such a step could contribute to guaranteeing Syria’s return to regional activities.
The minister voiced hope that the international community would assume its role on the issue of the return of Syrian refugees under the current improving situation to enable the Syrian refugees to return home from Lebanon and other Arab countries.
