At least three civilians were killed and another 25 were injured by a Russian missile strike that hit the city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday.

That’s according to an update posted by the chief of the regional administration, Serhiy Lysak, Ukrinform reported.

“Attack on Kryvyi Rih. Three cruise missiles were shot down by PvK “Skhid”. But we also have “arrivals”. Civilian objects were damaged. As per tentative reports, three of the residents of a five-storey apartment block were killed and 25 people were injured, 19 of which are now in hospital,” the update read.

Apartments from the first to the fifth floor are in flames. The blaze covered 700 square meters. Rescuers are working to put the fire out.

Three victims are reported at a private enterprise. All were hospitalized. There are likely people remaining under the rubble of the gutted warehouse. Rescuers are working to locate them. Six cars were damaged.
