AMMAN- Jordanian King Abdullah II started on Thursday a foreign tour including the US, Canada, France and Germany to rally international support to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, protect civilians, provide humanitarian aid supplies to the enclave and assert the importance of finding a political solution that would lead to a comprehensive settlement to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
In a statement, the Jordanian royal court said that the Jordanian king will meet in Washington with US President Joe Biden and a number of Congress and Senate members and will meet Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa.
He will also meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris and will participate in the 60th Munich Security Conference in Germany where he will meet with a number of foreign and European officials.
