RAMALLAH- The Israeli war cabinet has unanimously agreed to continue a military operation in Palestinian Rafah, according to i24News.
It said in a statement Monday that the decision is meant to exert military pressure on Hamas in order to advance the release of hostages.
The statement added that the Hamas proposal is far from Israel’s necessary requirements.
The Israeli war cabinet, however, said it will send a delegation for hostage negotiations to Egypt.
Earlier, Hamas accepted a ceasefire deal proposed by Egypt and Qatar.
