Dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Al-Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) Wednesday under protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Local Palestinian sources said Wednesday settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in groups, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals, including the “epic prostration” ritual, under the protection of occupation forces.

Meantime, Israeli occupation forces are imposing strict measures on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa and intensifying their military measures at its gates.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the Al-Bustan neighborhood in the town and closed its entrances in preparation for a demolition operation.

Occupation troops launched an arrest campaign in parallel with ongoing raids on the town of Tammun and Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas.

Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Prisoners’ Club in Tubas said, occupation forces raided a number of homes in the town of Tammun and have so far arrested about 10 Palestinians, most of whom are former prisoners, including a woman. He added that Israeli occupation forces turned a home near the entrance to the town of Tammun into a field investigation center and forced a number of citizens to leave their homes in the town, turning them into military barracks.

Since midnight, Israeli troops have continued their raids on the town of Tammun and Al-Far’a refugee camp, as occupation patrols and infantry forces are deployed, raiding citizens’ homes.

Meanwhile, occupation bulldozers have destroyed streets and infrastructure in areas of the Al-Far’a refugee camp and the town of Tammun.
