RAMALLAH – Israeli occupation forces Friday overnight detained at least five Palestinians from the West Bank, according to local and security sources.
They said that Israeli occupation forces showed up at a house in Kafr Qallil town, south of Nablus, muscled inside, and conducted a thorough search, turning the house upside down before detaining two brothers, WAFA News Agency reported.
The occupants also barged their way into the nearby town of Tell, where they rounded up another and ransacked his family house.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli troops detained two others from Hebron city, including the Abu Sneineh neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the soldiers conducted a raid in Al-Maniya village, east of Bethlehem, broke into several houses belonging to the Jabarin family, and subjected the occupants to brutal interrogation.
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
