Israeli occupation forces detained on Monday eight Palestinians in the occupied lands, according to Palestinian security sources.
Meanwhile, the sources said that the Israeli occupation forces this morning assaulted two Palestinian journalists at a northern West Bank military checkpoint, according to journalists.
Mohammad Turkman, a journalist, said the soldiers held him and his colleague, Karim Khamyseh, for several hours when they arrived at Deir Sharaf checkpoint, west of Nablus, on their way back after covering events in Jenin, WAFA reported.
The soldiers, he said, assaulted them and sabotaged the wheels of his private car.
