Israeli forces continue their assault on Tulkarm and its camp for the 34th consecutive day, and on Nour Shams camp for the 21st day, coinciding with the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
The forces have escalated the forced displacement of residents, threatening them with guns to leave their homes.
WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli forces forced residents to evacuate their homes in the Jabal al-Nasr neighborhood of Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, amid a tight siege.
The forces raided homes, vandalized property, and turned some into military barracks, using them as sniper and surveillance posts.
Several residents, including men, women, and children, were seen carrying their belongings on foot in the bitter cold as Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition to intimidate them.
Israeli forces set several homes in al-Manshiya neighborhood on fire, causing widespread damage to infrastructure, roads, and both public and private property.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression, over 5,500 residents, including women, children, the elderly, and the sick, have been displaced from neighborhoods like Al-Manshiya, Al-Maslakh, Jabal Al-Nasr, and Al-Salihin. Many have sought refuge in shelters and with relatives in the city, suburbs, and surrounding areas.
A few days ago, Israeli forces notified that 11 homes in Nour Shams camp would be demolished to make way for a road leading from the camp square to Al-Manshiya neighborhood.
Israeli forces deployed military reinforcements to Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, patrolling streets and neighborhoods, and stationed along Nablus Street.
They continue to seize residential buildings on the street, converting them into military barracks and positioning snipers inside.
The occupation forces continue to impose a strict siege on both camps, blocking entry and exit. Infantry squads are deployed around the camps and inside neighborhoods, raiding homes, vandalizing property, and interrogating residents.
During the ongoing aggression, Israeli forces have caused widespread destruction to the electricity, water, sewage, and communications infrastructure, disrupting essential services and worsening the suffering of residents still in their homes.
Military bulldozers have also caused extensive damage to roads and residential neighborhoods, destroying homes, shops, and property. Recently, 26 buildings in Tulkarm camp were completely demolished.
Thirteen citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant—were killed.
Amid the ongoing siege, residents still in their homes continue to appeal for food, water, medicine, and baby formula, as well as repairs to water and electricity networks.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces are blocking relief teams from delivering essential supplies.
