RAMALLAH – Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 20 Palestinians, including children and former prisoners, over the last 24 hours, according to a joint statement by the Palestinian Authority’s Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
The statement, cited by WAFA news agency, said detentions took place across several West Bank governorates, including Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Jericho, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces executed Hassan Ali Rabay’a, 40, from the town of Meithalun in the Jenin district. The forces surrounded his home, opened fire on him, detained him, and later announced his death.
Rabay’a is the father of Ali Rabay’a, a young boy who was killed by Israeli forces in July of the last year.
