The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, with renewed airstrikes and artillery shelling reported in several areas.
WAFA said Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting the city of Rafah and areas east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, amid ongoing artillery bombardment and heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
Israeli occupation forces detained nine Palestinians during a pre-dawn raid on the town of al-Zawiya, in the central West Bank province of Salfit, on Sunday, including several brothers.
Local sources said that Israeli forces stormed the town, raided and searched a number of homes and detained Yazan and Nour Amin Abu Leila, Mohammad and Rami Adnan Baker, Yahya Amjad Shawqi, Abdel Fattah Raed Qadous, Faiq Asfour, Nasser Naseem Farah and Mohammad Alaa Nofal.
The raid caused damage to property inside several homes and created fear among residents, particularly women and children, according to local accounts.
The detentions come amid an ongoing campaign of pressure against residents of al-Zawiya over recent weeks, which has included repeated night raids, frequent detentions, and restrictions on movement through the installation of military checkpoints, further disrupting daily life in the town.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces detained 25 Palestinians on Sunday during a series of raids in the southern West Bank city of Hebron and the nearby town of Halhul, according to Palestinian security sources.
The raids involved the storming and searching of multiple homes across several neighborhoods in Hebron and the nearby town of Halhul. During the offensive, Israeli forces converted one residential property in the Khabbab area into a temporary military post.
