BAGHDAD (News Wires) – Iraq’s Armed Forces aborted on Tuesday a plot by terrorist group Daesh to carry out terrorist operations during the fasting month of Ramadan.
A statement issued by the office of the Armed Forces Commander said the plot was aborted in cooperation with Asayish which is a Kurdish security organization and an intelligence agency operating in the Kurdistan region in Iraq.
The statement pointed out that two Iraqi suicide bombers were arrested after receiving a tip-off on their scheme.
