BEIRUT – Hezbollah declared that it has targeted three Israeli military positions in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms.
Shebaa Farms, among other regions under Israeli control in the north, belong to Lebanon and they are considered militarily occupied by Israel.
Hezbollah said that it considered the move in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.
Meantime, the Israeli army said Sunday it is carrying out artillery strikes in Lebanon after a number of mortar shells were fired toward Israeli territory, The Times of Israel reported.
There are no reports of injuries or damage.
The Israeli army has been taking preparational measures for this type of possibility and will continue to operate in all regions and at any time necessary to ensure the safety of the Israeli civilians,” the military said in a statement.
