RIYADH – Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jasem Al-Budaiwi Sunday emphasised the council’s firm stance in supporting peaceful dialogue to resolve regional and international issues and backing all international efforts aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine crisis as the optimal path to strengthening global peace and security.
The GCC chief welcomed the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, praising the positive atmosphere surrounding the summit, which affirmed that disputes and crises can best be resolved through cooperation, constructive dialogue and peaceful solutions, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA)
